Program Focus
Whether you do one valuation a year or 100, if you are a CPA or a non-CPA working for a CPA firm, as of January 1, 2008, you must comply with the AICPA Statement on Standards for Valuation Services No. 1 (SSVS). This powerful online course will address working with and complying with the SSVS, and overcoming the challenges and obstacles to compliance and applicability. Given the increasing numbers of AICPA members performing business valuation engagements or some aspect thereof, an understanding of the business valuation standards will improve consistency and quality of practice among members when performing such assignments. The course will guide you through the intricacies of the requirements of SSVS, show how they differentiate from the various other industry standards, illustrate how they could affect you and your practice, and provide guidance on how you can ensure your engagements are in compliance. The webinar instructors are prepared to address your questions about other organizations standards. This is not an introductory course. It is highly recommended for credentialed valuation professionals only.

(Working through the Business Valuation Standards and Ethics Maze webinars that were taken prior to January 2009 do not qualify towards recertification.)
